I realized that I started writing songs to make people feel how I felt, rather than just making them feel something. That's not the way I should do things.

People hate to describe their music. What we have come to call it is "beat up your mom" music. As far as describing what it sounds like, I guess you'd have to listen.

Find out what's really out there. I never said to be like me, I say be like you and make a difference.

People expect me to me a 'shock rocker,' but there's nothing you can do anymore to be shocking.

For me, the key to longevity - and immortality, in a sense - has to do with transformation.

Having an avatar doesn't give you an identity, and having a persona online doesn't make you a personality either.
