I was always thin. I guess I have good genes, so I never worried too much about my weight.

I have a really amazing fan club, it's contemporary but it's a little bit old school. There's a lot of connection. I have a fan club president who really responds to people.

I think we should all be tolerant of each other and embrace each others' strengths and differences and uniqueness and beauty.

I grew up singing in Kansas. My dad had a band when I was growing up. So I sang in church and school and started singing with his band when I was seven. So I've been singing all my life.

What I do to take care of my heart is exercise and try to eat healthy.

I love connecting with the fans. I love being on stage.

What I would like my legacy to be is that of a person who took good care of her family and sang some songs that made a difference in some way. I hope I'll be remembered as somebody who was always down to earth and who handled her career and other people with honesty, integrity and class.
