Great leadership is not the visit of an unexpected fate but rather a flame which is kept burning in spite of the winds of risk and opposition.
Mary Anne RadmacherGardening is all about optimism. I put a seed in the ground. I consistently tend it, confident I will see the results, in time, of the nurture I have provided.
Mary Anne RadmacherNurturing is not complex. It's simply being tuned in to the thing or person before you and offering small gestures toward what it needs at that time.
Mary Anne RadmacherTake time to play! Ask for what you want. Laugh. Live loudly. Be avid. Learn a new thing. Be Yourself!
Mary Anne RadmacherIntentions are a lot like seeds. You shove them into the ground, and every once in awhile, you water them. Largely, the seed does most of the work on its own. If, on one hand, you were digging the seed up several times a day to see what progress was being made, the seed would not take purchase in the soil. On the other hand, if you completely ignored it, giving no water or nourishment to the soil, the seed might not thrive.
