Going to my shows, it's like a religious experience, because you come out, you go in one person, you come out a different person.

In the end, the most important thing is to be true to yourself and those you love and work hard. I mean, work like there's no tomorrow. Train. Strive. I mean, really train and cultivate your talent to the highest degree. Be the best at what you do. Get to know more about your field than anybody alive. Use the tools of your trade, if it's books or a floor to dance on or a body of water to swim in. Whatever it is, it's yours.

I love experienced people. I love people who are phenomenally talented. I love people who've worked so hard and been so courageous and are the leaders in their fields. For me to meet somebody like that and learn from them and share words with them -to me that's magic.

When I was small I didn't really know what i was doing. I just sang and it came out sounding pretty good. I just do it and it happens.

Don't blame it on the sunshine. Don't blame it on the moonlight. Blame it on the boogie.

Prejudice is ignorance.

I love composing and writing music and dancing and performing and conceptualizing creatively for visual mediums. I love to create.
