The end of the play is kind of the beginning.

The theater is a place that doesn't always but can reward hard work and tenacity, unlike television.

From an acting perspective, I would say that you should always try to make your own stuff. Always be ambitious about your own projects and always know better than anyone else what you're good at.

I'm not the singer that I wish I was or that some people think I could be. I wish I had the pipes to just jump into musicals.

Don't feel you have to stick to plans, because something better might come up; and try to blend in, because you see more. I've learnt that the principles of moving around a big city are the same everywhere; only the people and streets are different.

Collaboration is when magic is made with more than one person. It's when more than one person finds common ground on the same page. That's collaboration.

I would have to say the most challenging thing about directing is the sheer stamina because... as a director, you're always doing something. Someone always needs to talk to you. There are always decisions to be made and every day for as long as the movie goes on. So it's a marathon... You don't have to look nice, but it's all day every day.
