Discriminating against same-sex couples just isn't right.

And what has been just completely heart warming is to see that people are really hungry for something different.

I admit it: I am louder than the average human being and have no fear of speaking my mind. These traits don't come from the color of my skin but from an unwavering belief in my own intelligence.

It is our fundamental belief in the power of hope that has allowed us to rise above the voices of doubt and division, of anger and fear that we have faced in our own lives and in the life of America.

As women, we must stand up for ourselves. We must stand up for each other. We must stand up for justice for all.

We need all hands on deck, and that means clearing hurdles for women and girls as they navigate careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Not everybody is going to run a marathon or do a triathlon. It's not necessary to do that to be in good health.
