The only reason you are happy is because you choose to be happy. Happiness is a choice, and so is suffering.

We [people] love ourselves with conditions. We need opinions, we need approval, we create an image of ourselves that is not what we are. This how we lose our authenticity and create masks - how we become "domesticated."

Before we were born, a whole society of storytellers was already here. The storytellers who were here before us taught us how to be human.

If you live in a past dream, you don't enjoy what is happening right now because you will always wish it to be different than it is. There is no time to miss anyone or anything because you are alive. Not enjoying what is happening right now is living in the past and being only half alive. This leads to self pity, suffering and tears.

You cannot change the world if you don't change your own world first.

Only love has the ability to put you in that state of bliss
