We will never have more affection or passion for God than we understand He has for us. We will never be more committed to God than our understanding of His commitment to us.

The Lord wants us to have a threefold confidence. First, we are to be confident that He loves us in our weakness. Second, we are to be confident that He esteems our weak love for Him as genuine.Third, we are to be confident that He still entrusts us with the calling that He originally gave us.

Jesus isn't coming for a church that's gritting her teeth, struggling to stay free from sin, secretly wishing she could indulge in a little immorality but abstaining because of being afraid of getting caught. No, Jesus is coming for a church passionately and utterly devoted to Him-one that is free on the inside.

Intercession is God’s brilliant strategy for including the saints in ruling with Him in power. Yet, it has such great impact on us as it draws us into intimacy with God, protects with humility, transforms with holiness, anoints with power, unifies in community, releases revelation, and increases our inheritance while it trains us to rule with His wisdom.

God releases more of His power and presence according to the measure of our hunger for Him.

Humility is the ultimate standard of greatness in the Kingdom of God.

Smiling in Heaven isn't required - it's inevitable.
