The foolish took their lamps, but took no oil (pursued ministry as their priority over getting oil). The wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps (pursued oil as their priority before ministry). At the dark midnight hour of history, the Spirit will raise up forerunners who cry out that Jesus is coming as a Bridegroom God and that we must go out to meet Him (make the necessary effort to encounter Him). They all slept which speaks of living in context to the natural processes of life.

People will give themselves to prayer for numerous reasons, but at the core of it all is a God, raging with zealous desire.

The protestant world is in great need of examples (like these) that will beckon us to the fullness of God.

God gives salvation to the needy, but gives the deep things of His heart to the hungry who refuse to live without them.

We love God with our mind by taking the time to fill our mind with the Word.

I'm not looking for Bible verses to back up a lifestyle of passiveness. I'm looking for Bible verses and life experiences to teach me to live more radically for Christ.
