I think I'm a very pretty girl. I'm never going to pretend to think otherwise. There are even days I feel I'm fabulously hot and sexy. I'm grateful for my looks. My family is doing well because of them. I can make career choices and turn down movies because of them and I have been making money from them for 17 years. My looks are who I am.

I've been really into boyfriend blazers, I like mixing tweeds with floral fabrics. The masculine and feminine look.

Bringing all 45 members of my crazy family together, and watching them argue is super awesome. It's good to do it just once a year.

I guess the most difficult thing for me was living up to my mom's expectations. I was always scared that if I didn't do things in this certain way, then my mom just wouldn't think I was great. That's something that was difficult for me growing up.

For me, having kids put so much into perspective. I wasn't so worried about my career and what I did or didn't achieve. Because, suddenly, I was like, "As long as this baby is healthy and safe, everything else is fine."

I did a film [about a con-artist mom and son] called Bringing Up Bobby that Famke Janssen wrote and directed. No one's gonna hire me for their [big-budget] romantic comedy, so it's up to me to look out for great indie comedies and show people a different side of myself - even if it's for three people outside of my family.

When you're doing martial arts, you feel like you can master certain skills and be so much more in control of who you are, so that really appealed to me.
