When I get recognized, every time feels like the first time.

I'm an adventurer. I believe in being bold and brave - and taking risks. Even if I'm afraid of something, I'll still have a go at it.

Having traveled across America and to 24 counties as the first-ever UN Youth Champion, I’m inspired by the desire of young people everywhere to make the world a better place. At GimmeMo’, our goal is to build a global community of enlightened young people — those who wish to be the change they wish to see in the world, to borrow a phrase from Gandhi — and to raise awareness surrounding some of the biggest challenges that Millennials face both in the U.S. and around the world.

You have to split, bend over backward, touch our toe to our heads to get recognized.

As an African American actress there are people who have been staples in my life that opened a door that I can walk through. I hope that I can have that impact.

I'm good in the kitchen. I can cook seafood, collard greens, black-eyed peas.

I look like a child - and I love it!
