Nothing brings more money to the Treasury of the United States, than investment in education of the American people.

Do not ever say to anybody it's time for us to have a woman in the leadership, because that's the least important selling point.

I believe that women are rising to the occasion to tackle many challenges. I don't have a nightlife. People say, "You need these cocktail dresses for all the receptions" - except I don't go, because we have no idea if we are going to be in session. But my husband has encouraged me to, shall we say, keep up with fashion.
