A new institution with new design, structure, body, soul, new thinking, and direction will replace the Planning Commission. It will be one that caters to the aspirations of 21st century India.

When I went to a school in Japan, they told me that both the teachers and students perform cleaning tasks here to keep the schools clean. I wondered why can't we do it in India.

We do not need men and women from other planets to develop India. Our people, our youth are skilled.

Only those who keep walking get sweet returns... look at the sun's perseverance- dynamic & always on the move, never dormant... hence keep moving.

I am a small man who wants to do big things for small people.

In a democracy, everyone has the right to criticise the Government. Normally, the opposition gets more media space and even the people find it interesting to listen to voices against the government of the day. Ever since I took office, my friends in the opposition have been levelling baseless allegations about my foreign trips. Had these trips been a failure, then they would have based their comments on specific issues. When opponents keep harping on one point, it is a sure sign of success!

To me technology used wisely is a catalyst to magically transforming the way we live.
