I just feel like I'm in the world right now. There have been times when I haven't felt in the world, when I haven't cared whether I was going to be here or not, so my relationship with being on the earth was probably not as intense. And right now, there's an intensity - I want to be here.

I don't really celebrate fame because I get enough attention.

Stay out of the sun, because it is the worst thing in terms of aging. I'm very medical. I come from a medical family.

I do have to say my daughter, Sunday, said to me [I was being] overprotective, so you must have been a fly on the wall.

I think at some stage, I would love to have another child. I would love to settle into a relationship that was really important to me. I actually am not good at the balance at that.

I credit literature for the reason I act because that was the door to me saying, ‘Oh! I can be somebody else. I can exist as someone else.’

I love acting, but it's much more fun taking the kids to the zoo.
