You train your heart to control your body. That's what you do when you fast.

It is not true that if we had true faith we would not be sad. Prophets (as), and righteous people experienced a great deal of sadness. The Quran is full of stories in which the central theme is sadness. Sadness is a reality of life. The Quran is not there to eliminate sadness, but to navigate it. Sadness is one of the tests of life, just as happiness, and anger are tests.

Filthy language is used by people who don't have the maturity or intelligence to express themselves with better words.

Just because you’re a Believer, doesn’t mean your safe from the Hell-fire.

The first thing that Shaytan (Satan) will try to do is get you to stop praying. You know why? Because he has to kill the guard if he wants to penetrate the castle. Once the guard is gone, then Shaytan(satan) can open the floodgates for evil. And he has a lot of patience. He has done this to many people before so he’s experienced as well.

Forgiving someone isn't just about doing good to another. It's also about healing a scar in your own heart.

When you find yourself in a position to help someone, be happy because Allah is answering that person’s prayer through you.
