Refusing to be disillusioned is the cause of much of the suffering of human life. And this is how that suffering happens-if we love someone, but do not love God, we demand total perfection and righteousness from that person, and when we do not get it, we become cruel and vindictive; yet we are demanding of a human being which he or she cannot possibly give.

When you fear God you fear nothing else!

The crisis will reveal whether we have been practicing or not.

The one thing that remains is looking in the face of God for ourselves.

If we were never depressed we should not be alive; it is the nature of a crystal never to be depressed.

As Christians we are not out for our own cause at all, we are out for the cause of God, which can never be our cause. We do not know what God is after, but we have to maintain our relationship with Him whatever happens.

When we are abandoned to God, He works through us all the time.
