Usually I like to make my movies from start to finish in chronological order. As a filmmaker it lets me be able to direct my actors and tell them where exactly they are and go with progression.
Paul WalkerI like to make big decisions when I am at home living a routine life, getting up, walking my dog, having breakfast, when I have no pressure. I do not like doing it when I making a film. It is too stressful.
Paul WalkerI was exposed to nature by my mother who loved camping, so I always enjoyed the outdoors and that has been a lasting passion. We went on nature walks and I became fascinated with the environment as I got older.
Paul WalkerI have been surfing for my whole life. I love it and I don't know that I can get much better now, I have peaked, which bothers me but I have to accept it.
Paul WalkerThat's one thing about Hollywood. People don't always want what's real. People always want a little more. So for me, it's a compromise. Here you go, that hyper-reality.
Paul WalkerThere's a lot of guys that just get comfortable with their positions and rest on their laurels. I had to earn my way.
Paul WalkerI hope I'm in a position to make stuff that I really want to make as opposed to stuff that I just have to make for money reasons, or to sustain a certain marquee value.
Paul WalkerSometimes I live in fear. But when I have to take chances about people I love, relationships, my daughter and immediate family, those decisions are easy.
Paul WalkerPeople are concerned over safety and spillage, especially for the workers. Were all really hopeful even though we remain deeply concerned over the safety and the efficacy of an unproven technology.
Paul WalkerWe all compromise ourselves, from time to time, because maybe it will lead to more opportunity...A ll of thatโs cool, but we forget and we get caught up. If you want that nurturing, caring, empathetic, compassionate heart to keep on ticking and be around, and you want it to be strong, then donโt neglect #1. One way to feed it is just being truthful and listening to your heart.
Paul WalkerI need to work with great directors and actors, people who are better than me, so that I am challenged. It is like playing sports - surfing, basketball, it doesn't matter what it is, if you play with people who are better than you, then you get better too. It is the same thing with acting.
Paul WalkerI make films and do the publicity and interviews, but then I want to get away from it all and be on my own.
Paul WalkerI was definitely ahead of my friends. I was French-kissing girls way before anybody else was.
Paul WalkerYou know, all that really matters is that the people you love are happy and healthy. Everything else is just sprinkles on the sundae.
Paul WalkerFrank Marshall is very level headed and wonderful to work with. He he has a resume that is probably twelve miles long. As a human being he is so unassuming and is also consistent and so nice to everyone, he treats everyone on the set with great respect, it doesn't matter who they are and that says a lot about him.
Paul WalkerI have an airplane hangar with 17 cars in it. That's no joke. I have a 'half pipe' in there, too - you know, like a big ramp, where I skateboard. It's awesome. It's the ultimate fantasy.
Paul WalkerClint Eastwood is so fair and consistent. It does not matter who he is talking to, he is always nice. It doesn't matter whether he is with a production assistant or Steven Spielberg, he is friendly and never seems superior. I think it is hard for people to realize that he is accessible because they are caught up in the image and can't talk to him because he is 'Clint Eastwood', so they get tongue-tied. They get terrified. It is funny watching people with him.
Paul WalkerI'm a doer, and whether it was the tsunami in Sri Lanka or the earthquake in Indonesia, I was always saying, I should be there; I should be helping out.
Paul WalkerBasically, you're selling a world as an actor, right? I mean it's like any sales person: if you believe in your product, you know your product, you sell it a lot better.
Paul WalkerI remember when I first came around, the computer-generated stuff was pretty wicked. I was like, 'Wow!' but I feel like then for the longest time, we saw so much of it, after a while, you might as well just be watching an animated movie.
Paul WalkerI'm not affected by violence the way some people are. I don't know why, but I enjoy that intensity.
Paul WalkerI could take you for a walk on the beach and I could point out just about any creature and give you their Latin names.
Paul WalkerI am going to continue to work hard, but I do not take it too seriously, I just do what feels right and I really want to have a good time.
Paul WalkerI play Hank Hansen, a real guy. Youd be amazed at how much information they have on this guy: personality traits, nicknames, favorite color, you name it.
Paul WalkerTo know that there's a good chance that this is something that could potentially be around well after I leave this planet... it's a good feeling.
Paul WalkerI'm into being a dad, that's where my focus is most of the time. I'm an actor that's my job, but it's not my life. I have a lot of other interests too.
Paul WalkerWhat I find really difficult is making career decisions. Normally it will take me two weeks, until the very last minute and I have to say yes or no. For a couple of weeks, I will tune everyone out who is giving me advice, so that I can make a clear decision on my own and it takes time.
Paul WalkerI think that I just need to work with great directors and actors, people who are better than me, so that I am challenged.
Paul WalkerI'm a Christian now. The things that drove me crazy growing up was how everyone works at fault-finding with different religions. The people I don't understand are atheists. I go surfing and snow boarding and I'm always around nature. I look at everything and think, 'Who couldn't believe there's a God? Is all this a mistake?' It just blows me away.
