No one walks so safely as one who walks humbly and harmlessly with great love and great faith. For such a person gets through to the good in others (and there is good in everyone), and therefore cannot be harmed. If you did not face problems you would just drift through life. It is through solving problems in accordance with the highest light we have that inner growth is attained.

The lesson of the way of love is that evil can only be overcome by good. We don't need to reach out and tear down the things that are evil because nothing which is contrary to the law of love can endure.

Pure love is a willingness to give without a thought of receiving anything in return.
