I think honesty is a big part. Because when you sing live, you want the audience to believe you.

The paparazzi stuff is a little weird. I used to leave the house in my pajamas. I can't do that anymore, but I'm not complaining!

I'm not afraid to use my personal experiences and put them into a song. I think that's when you get the best stuff anyway, when it's real emotion.

I just like boys who are good-looking, really! I like people who are tall with a good sense of style. My faves are the indie look, the smart look or the surfer look.

I always feel like I want to write a song when I'm really upset. And when I'm in an argument with my family, I go straight to the piano and just kind of take it out on the piano and get all emotional.

I would really love to go to Thailand as so many people have told me how wonderful it is.

I can't imagine ever not making music, making albums, writing songs, doing shows. That's all I really know, and that's all I really do.
