To all the kids who looked up to me, I’m truly sorry for letting you down, but I hope it’s helped you learn that one bad decision can turn your dream into a nightmare. There is no excuse for domestic violence, and I apologize for the horrible mistake I made.

I want to be someone that kids in my community look up to and want to strive to give back when they grow up.

The game of football really is more cerebral than most people think. To be successful, it takes more than just strength and speed; it takes versatility, intelligence, and ability to think quickly and calmly, to adapt to every situation.

I just want to thank [my wife] for loving me where I was weak.

I was taught that I cannot back down to anything. I was trained never to be scared.

I also want to apologize to my fans, to the kids, everyone who's affected by the situation me and my wife are in.
