You cannot fulfil God's purposes for your life while focusing on your own plans.

I wish that those who believe in the doctrines of grace would be more gracious. That's all I'd say... I'm an evangelical. I believe the doctrines of grace.

So when you say who does Christ die for? He died for the church, okay. I don't think God's death on the cross through Christ was a failure, if you are saying that. I do not believe that anybody he intended to die for is failing in that area.

Surrender is not the best way to live; it is the only way to live. Nothing else works.

God has a purpose behind every problem. He uses circumstances to develop our character. In fact, he depends more on circumstances to make us like Jesus than he depends on our reading the Bible.

What surprises me most about God is that the creator of the universe should want a relationship with me.
