I think someone follows me. They do the most random stuff. I get a photo taken through a burger drive-through window and it's like, 'What?'. They always seem like they're six feet away. I don't understand. I'm walking around and I don't see anybody.

It happened while I was filming “Water for Elephants in which my partner is Reese Witherspoon. We had a scene with elephants but there were so many paparazzi around that it was scaring the animals and it was impossible to film. Out of the blue, fans, that were waiting for autographs, had enough and circled around the paparazzi. Teens made big guys run away. It was unreal! I was pleased.

It makes me feel like working non-stop: at least, on sets, the level of security gives me a bit of privacy. It's a relief.

I have to look over my shoulder all the time, be really vigilant because at any moment, someone could be filming me or recording what I'm saying.

I'm a lucky person. Thank God. And I'm conflicted. Thank God.

It's always been strange to me that someone can say they're a vampire fan. I'm not a non-fan, but it's such an unusual thing to be a fan of. That's like saying, "I love zombie movies! I just love 'em! They're my favorite!" That's more of a psychological problem than being an actual fan.

I'm curious to see what happens in England because in all this madness I think I can always go home to England and it'll all turn off.
