One thing is clear: The Founding Fathers never intended a nation where citizens would pay nearly half of everything they earn to the government.

A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank.

What we need to do is not only live within our means, but start paying down the deficit, and offer an opportunity at least for the next generation to get out.

I have never been one who is comfortable talking about my faith in the political arena. In fact, the pandering that typically occurs in the election season I find to be distasteful.
