I believe we must resolve the problem at our southern border with full regard to the problems and needs of Mexico. We hear much of special interest groups. Well, our concern must be for a special interest group that has been too long neglected. They are, in short, "We the people," this breed called Americans.

I, for one, resent it when a representative of the people refers to you and me, the free men and women of this country, as 'the masses.'

If not us, who? And if not now, when?
