If the Republican Party continues to have a different message for every different group, they're gonna die. We already have a party that does that, and they own it. It's called the Democrat Party.
Rush LimbaughI'm not denying I've espoused and promoted conservatism, because conservatism's the alternative. And conservatism works every time it's tried. That's the problem. It really hasn't been tried. Even people claiming to be conservative, when it comes time to actually do it, chicken out.
Rush LimbaughWhat I meant when I say that the media are bots, I don't want anybody misunderstand this. I'm watching CNN and one of their infobabes is doing this report on Al Franken questioning [Jeff] Sessions during the confirmation hearings. I'm convinced - and they played an edited version of it. It was edited by somebody to make it look like it was something other than what it was, and I'm convinced this infobabe hasn't the slightest clue.
Rush LimbaughBut there's a lot of them that had that exact reaction, who had never heard Trump speak before. And I remember when I said this after [Donald] Trump's speech, I had a lot of emails. "Come, Rush! It's not... People aren't that segregated anymore." Don't doubt me on this. The left, you do not know how they sequester themselves.
Rush LimbaughThe politics of grievance is pervasive. It's spreading. And when you have an economy that has been ripped to shreds like this, and when you have more and more people thinking that there's no economic opportunity - that the game is so rigged that the standard recipes of hard work and education, stick-to-itiveness and so forth don't pay off.
Rush LimbaughYou go ask any founder of any company why he or she did it, you will never hear, "I wanted to create jobs for the community" as the number one, number two, number three, number four, number five, number 10 reason for doing so. That is a result of the success the business enjoys. Creating jobs is not why people start businesses. Creating jobs is not how people innovate in business. It's not how they compete.
