The way [Donald Trump] is dealing with this now is to say (paraphrasing), "I don't want these A-listers here. I'm not asking these people to perform."

In a 91-part series of sob stories from the laid off and the disgruntled, The NY Times is in the midst of bemoaning 'the downsizing of America' - better known as 'the whining of America.' The cause of all the heartache, in the esteemed newspaper of record's view, appears to be heartless corporate chieftains - as well as capitalism itself. Americans are moving forward, despite shackles. The shackles I am referring to are not NAFTA, not corporations. They are, instead, the barriers imposed by our own government.

Slavery built the South. I'm not saying we should bring it back; I'm just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark.

I'm just telling you in my universe, people that I know who voted for Donald Trump and want the Trump agenda or most of it, I don't know anybody who is content for nothing to happen, status quo while the Republicans and Trump bicker. I don't know anybody who wants any more of this.

George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump. Take your pick. They are hated; they are not opposed, and I wish an even bigger percentage of the American people would figure this out. The American people are running around thinking that all the hate and the racism and all these other isms are located on the Republican Party side.

Donald Trump was sent to Washington to drain the swamp. If the Democrat Party, as losers, can continue to thwart the winners with this never-ending threat of a government shutdown and that the Republicans are gonna get blamed for it, to me it's time to change that. It's time to blow up that whole narrative. It's time to take it on.

Look, folks, everybody knows we're not gonna kick these DREAMers out of the country. I know that a lot of people think that we should have no mercy here on... "Mercy" is the wrong word. That, if we're gonna have border security, we're gonna have border security. If you're illegal and you're here illegally, you gotta go back and try to get in legally. I understand that.
