The original United States, the founding of America was indeed a shared culture. And you could argue that there was a diversity from the founding days, but not the way the left defines diversity today.

We were all illegal at one point and we were all unwanted at one point. Somebody in our family, if not us, was undesirable, and yet here we are. And this moral equivalence that this president [Barak Obama] makes is part and parcel of his effort to tear down the greatness and the uniqueness of this country. Make no mistake.

Of course, our immigration system isn't broken. The enforcement of our immigration system is broken. The president Barack Obama, the Democrat Party, and several in the Republican Party are trying to break the immigration system. The system itself is not broken; it's just fine. It's just being ignored.

I'll tell you something else, and certainly you're not gonna remember this because the media landscape wasn't the same. But the Republican establishment hated Ronald Reagan too, just like the Democrat establishment did.

There's always been this implied promise - and it probably was stated somewhere - that Hillary Clinton was gonna be thanked.
