I'm even stunned at some of the majors you can get in college these days. Like you can major in the mating habits of the Australian rabbit bat, major in leisure studies... Okay, get a journalism major. Okay, education major, journalism major. Right. Philosophy major, right. Archeology major. I don't know, whatever it is. Major in ballroom dance, of course. It doesn't replace work. How about a major in film studies? How about a major in black studies? How about a major in women studies? How about a major in home ec? Oops, sorry! No such thing.

The loyalty to Hillary Clinton is party loyalty, and by the way, she has a lot of support simply based on the fact that we are despised, folks, conservatives, Republicans are literally hated, irrationally and inexplicably.

I would feel much the way I feel when anybody is elected. You deal with what you end up getting.

Events sometimes are the biggest teachers, as opposed to words, lectures, and that kind of thing.

When liberals are behind something, I'm automatically suspicious.

There's not gonna be any tuition cuts. There aren't gonna be any drastic reductions in salaries. And in fact when the subject of cuts comes up, the first thing that the opponents of cuts say, "You can't cut this faculty. You can't cut the salaries. You wouldn't save enough money, you can't go there."

I think optimism is in the eyes of the beholder.
