Racism is worse than ever. Violence is worse than ever. The economy's worse than ever. Unemployment's worse than ever. And it's Democrats that have been running the show, with the first African-American president at the top of the heap, and it didn't get any better?
Rush LimbaughThe Republicans have bought into the idea that people hate them because they're opposed to everything.
Rush LimbaughThere's all kinds of conservative donors. The Koch brothers are big donors. There's all kinds of them. But none of them have actively organized hate groups that run around and protest and try to upset people and get in as close as they can to their lives and the way they live them and make a nuisance of themselves. That's not how the right has always sought to win elections.
Rush LimbaughTry it, folks, try it. Try it for a week without watching cable news. Now, if you're a news consumer and if you are quasi-addicted, then you're gonna have to find other ways of informing yourself, and you can do that. You can inform yourself of the same things you'll see on cable TV. What you will miss is all the incendiary opining on both sides. You'll miss the anger. You'll miss the constant lack of resolution to anything. And most of all you'll miss the frustration.
Rush LimbaughIt's not a big deal, but it's quite noticeable and obvious to me, and it's a little hypocritical, and it's a little contradictory. Here we have all of these Republicans in the House and the Senate - not all, but I mean a majority who, for seven years, ran on repealing and replacing Obamacare. They promised, seven years. When it was time to reelect, time to campaign, promised. Now they run the House and they run the Senate, and they can't come up with a bill. Isn't it amazing?
