And that's really what's happening in this country is a violation of the First Commandment. We have become a country entrenched in idolatry, and that idolatry is the dependency upon our government. We're supposed to depend upon God for our protection and our provision and for our daily bread, not for our government.
Sharron AngleWe're talking about a militant terrorist situation, which I believe it isn't a widespread thing, but it is enough that we need to address, and we have been addressing it. My thoughts are these, first of all, Dearborn, Michigan, and Frankford, Texas are on American soil, and under constitutional law. Not Sharia law. And I don't know how that happened in the United States. It seems to me there is something fundamentally wrong with allowing a foreign system of law to even take hold in any municipality or government situation in our United States.
Sharron AngleWe need to diversify our economy, and the energy industry would be a great place to begin that diversification.
Sharron AngleSo thatโs what we want is a secure and sovereign nation and, you know, I donโt know that all of you are Latino. Some of you look a little more Asian to me. I donโt know that. What we know, what we know about ourselves is that we are a melting pot in this country. My grandchildren are evidence of that. Iโm evidence of that. Iโve been called the first Asian legislator in our Nevada State Assembly.
Sharron AngleThey [Republicans] say, 'You're too conservative.' Was Thomas Jefferson too conservative? I'm tired of some people calling me wacky.
Sharron AngleThe premise of my whole campaign has been not that people need to believe what I say to them, but they need to look at what I have done. And what I have done in the state of Nevada, I have voted over a 100 times against tax and fee increases, poor public policy, and unconstitutional bills.
