Freedom to do what one likes is really bondage, while being free to do what one must, what is right, is real freedom.

Don't rely on your mind for liberation. It is the mind that brought you into bondage. Go beyond it altogether.

Real happiness is not vulnerable, because it does not depend on circumstances.

Moods are in the mind and do not matter. Go within, go beyond. Cease being fascinated by the content of your consciousness. When you reach the deep layers of your true being, you will find that the mind's surface-play affects you very little.

You are already perfect, only you don't know it. Learn to know yourself and you will discover wonders.

Meditation is a deliberate attempt to pierce into the higher states of consciousness and finally go beyond it. The art of meditation is the art of shifting the focus of attention to ever subtler levels, without losing one's grip on the levels left behind. (...)
