Our usual attitude is of 'I am this'. Separate consistently and perseveringly the 'I am' from 'this' or 'that', and try to feel what is means to be, just to be, without being 'this' or 'that'.
Sri Nisargadatta MaharajReality is neither subjective nor objective, neither mind nor matter, neither time nor space. These divisions need somebody to happen to, a conscious separate center. But reality is all and nothing, the totality and the exclusion, the fullness and the emptiness, fully consistent, absolutely paradoxical. You cannot speak about it, you can only lose yourself in it.
Sri Nisargadatta MaharajAll your desires, whatever they may be, are expressions of your longing for happiness. Basically, you wish yourself well.
Sri Nisargadatta MaharajIf you are angry or in pain, separate yourself from anger and pain and watch them. Externalization is the first step to liberation.
Sri Nisargadatta MaharajIn the light of calm and steady self-awareness, inner energies wake up and work miracles without any effort on your part.
Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj"I AM" itself is God. The seeking itself is God. In seeking you discover that you are neither body nor mind, but the love of the self in you for the self in all. The two are one. The consciousness in you and the consciousness in me, apparently two, really one, seek unity, and that is love.
