Instilling values of faith at an early age is important. Listening them through adolescence comes more important than teaching because if you haven't instilled in them at early ages now it's time to listen and get your report card and let them find their way and then as an adult let them stand aside.

If you think down, you will go down. If you think up, you will go up. You’ll always travel in the direction of your thinking.

You will never understand pleasure without pain.

How can we teach our children to respect Black women if Black women don't respect Black women?

I think the first step is to understand that forgiveness does not exonerate the perpetrator. Forgiveness liberates the victim. It's a gift you give yourself.
