Let's not pretend there isn't a huge industry driven by the choices made by editors and writers who decide what a story is.

Saying no to something is actually much more powerful than saying yes.

By and large, the making of motion pictures is all about, 'Let's ratchet it up.' And I always think, 'We don't need to ratchet this up.'
