Authentic freedom is actually the freedom of knowing who you are, why you are here, your purpose in life and where you are going when you leave here.

My beliefs are that the truth is a truth until you organize it, and then it becomes a lie. I don't think that Jesus was teaching Christianity, Jesus was teaching kindness, love, concern, and peace. What I tell people is don't be Christian, be Christ-like. Don't be Buddhist, be Buddha-like.

Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.

Tell me what you are for, and I will show you what is going to expand in a positive way. Tell me what you are against, and I can show you what is going to expand in a destructive way.

When you squeeze an orange, you'll always get orange juice to come out. What comes out is what's inside. The same logic applies to you: when someone squeezes you, puts pressure on you, or says something unflattering or critical, and out of you comes anger, hatred, bitterness, tension, depression, or anxiety, that is what's inside. I've been an exercise maniac most of my adult life, running marathons and triathlons, doing that as a regular way of life. I ran eight miles a day, every day for 29 years.

Practice radical humility when it comes to your own accomplishments, and give credit everywhere except to your ego.
