Our third partner [with Neal Dodson] was this other guy called Corey [Moosa], and he came in with good ideas and also some access to money, and so we joined forces and drew up a business plan and got financing for the beginnings of the company. We had no idea what we were doing really. We just started looking through material and started producing our own stuff.
Zachary QuintoI think the goal is always to go deeper within myself, and accept myself on deeper levels and to know myself on deeper levels. Whether or not I look for roles that are going to do that for me, I certainly look for the ways in which the roles I get can do that for me.
Zachary QuintoZoe Saldana is such an angel. Sheโs got such an openness and vulnerability on camera and yet such great strength. She can kick ass with the best of them, but then she can soften and open up in a way that is magnetizing whether youโre watching her on set or on screen โ sheโs got a real power to her. I love her; weโve known each other for years and itโs great to come back to that kind of familiarity, especially when youโre working with such intimacy.
Zachary QuintoI find that communication as an actor and person is an important part of who I am. And I'm really drawn into the psychology of those dynamics.
Zachary QuintoI try to be as fearless as possible. I don't always succeed, but I like to think I try.
Zachary QuintoThe situation they [journalists and Edward Snowden] were in was incredibly heightened. The stakes were high. There was a lot of pressure, a lot of tension, a lot of sense of claustrophobic, clandestine energy that I think was exhilarating for us to explore and recreate. We were fortunate to shoot a fair amount of our stuff at the actual hotel where it all happened in Hong Kong. That added another element of very similitude to the situation, so I feel like it was exciting.
