Feb 6 1945 St. Ann, Jamaica, Daddy was born. I remember us celebrating one of his birthdays in Jamaica at 56 Hope Road with him, no big superstar party, just us kids, Mommy, some cake, few laughs and that was it. Even if he wasn't known to the world on Feb 6th I would still think of him and in my heart say Happy Birthday Daddy. Love.

Judaism, Christianity, Islam, all of these are branches, the root is love and that's where I went. I went straight to the root, I forgot the branches and I went straight to the root so that is how I see it, that is after I said of research and study and going through different phases of mental evolution, mental and consciousness evolution, not just believing in a book, believing in a certain idea, being willing to think for yourself and formulate your own ideas.

I was in my yard and thought that the tree was a living being. We take trees for granted. We don't believe they are as much alive as we are.

Children are wonderful, and they add to my whole life.

I think Americans should have a policy of love. That should be the foreign policy, love. Export Love.

Sometimes my mistakes turn into interesting music because I do things that aren't supposed to be done.

It's hard to say a favorite song of my father's. I listen to all his stuff; a lot of the old stuff before the '70s.
