What is certainly true is that the United States has to have a presence to promote the values that we care about.

Even while we may at times disagree, as friends sometimes will, the bonds between the United States and Israel are unbreakable and the commitment of the United States to the security of Israel is ironclad.

Justice needs to be served, what I think people of Baltimore want more than anything else is the truth. That's what people around the country expect.

Yes, our greatness as a nation has depended on individual initiative, on a belief in the free market. But it has also depended on our sense of mutual regard for each other, of mutual responsibility. We know that government can't solve all our problems - and we don't want it to. But we also know that there are some things we can't do on our own.
