You now have the potential of 200 people deciding who ends up being elected president every single time.

Inequality also distorts our democracy. It gives an outsized voice to the few who can afford high-priced lobbyists and unlimited campaign contributions, and runs the risk of selling out our democracy to the highest bidder. And it leaves everyone else rightly suspicious that the system in Washington is rigged against them - that our elected representatives aren't looking out for the interests of most Americans.

If everybody who voted in 2008 shows up in 2010, we will win this election. We will win this election.

I think when you spread the wealth around it's good for everybody.

The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.

If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen.

Persevere. Nothing worthwhile is easy.
