As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don't think it is more dangerous than alcohol.

[Young people] are showing enormous and entrepreneurship and working with each other across borders.

The number of Americans killed since 9/11 by terrorism, it's less than 100. If you look at the number that have been killed by gun violence, it's in the tens of thousands. And for us not to be able to resolve that issue has been something that is distressing.

And what that will do is make sure that you will never be prevented from going to school just because of money. We want to make sure that you and others like you can succeed.
