I've worn black today, because I've heard so often that it's supposed to be slimming. But instead I am this sphere of darkness submarining through the halls.

Teens wanted things that were real, that they connected with, it doesn't have to reflect reality directly. They love 'The Hunger Games' not because it's real in that it happens, but the emotions there are real, and it's very relatable.

I can't pretend to know what love is. It just is.

We always see our worst selves. Our most vulnerable selves. We need someone else to get close enough to tell us we’re wrong. Someone we trust.

Luckily, I always travel with a book, just in case I have to wait on line for Santa, or some such inconvenience.

I want to take back at least half of the “I love you”s, because I didn’t mean them as much as the other ones.
