The best advice I can give to anyone going through a rough patch is to never be afraid to ask for help.

Whatever you dream of doing one day, don't give up on that dream because you never know where it can take you.

The more active I am, the better I feel and the longer I can stay onstage without losing my breath.

When I look back, it saddens me to think that I was so hard on myself - when I was younger, I thought I had to look like everyone else, but I learned that beauty comes from how you feel about yourself. Once I started taking care of my mind, body, and soul, I realized that I didn't need to conform to what's "normal" and started to love myself.

I'm not a model - I have curves. I find things that accentuate my body, a woman's body, and I always wear things that I feel comfortable in.

I learned that you go through things, you deal with them and that's what empowers you and ultimately makes you a happy person.

Your mind . . . can be your best friend or your worst enemy, but it's your choice to make.
