I don't let anyone's insecurities, emotions, or opinions bother me. I know that if I am happy, that's all that matters to me.

I think it's important that artists use their voices for so much more than just their talent.

There were times I felt so anxious, almost like I was crawling out of my skin, that if I didn't do something physical to match the way I felt inside, I would explode. I cut myself to take my mind off that. I just didn't care what happened. I had no fear.

I'm not saying I'm perfect, or fixed, but I am learning to love and accept myself. My outlook is more positive and I am happy.

I'm not afraid to talk about the fact that women get paid less than men in the United States and how unfair that is. Talking about it at all is doing the work.
