Unfortunately, I can't fault other writers and directors for how they choose to present themselves, but I just think people are very fearful of declaring themselves as feminists because it's just confused with being misandry. And if you get labeled a man-hater in this town, you're screwed. Men are still the gatekeepers.

A lot of people are concerned with staying physically young...I'm more interested in maintaining my curiosity.

There's this double standard that exists and it really frustrates me. If a woman chooses to work, people say, "Oh it's so sad that you're not at home with your children." But no one ever says that to a man because it's assumed that the man is going to be the provider.
