If we are only willing to open our hearts and minds to the spirit of Christmas, we will recognize wonderful things happening around us.
Dieter F. UchtdorfIf the Savior were among us today, we would find Him where He always was-ministering to the meek, the downcast, the humble, the distressed, and the poor in spirit. During this Christmas season and always, may we give to Him by loving as He loves.
Dieter F. UchtdorfWherever you are, whatever your circumstances may be, you are not forgotten. No matter how dark your days may seem, no matter how insignificant you may feel, no matter how overshadowed you think you may be, your Heavenly Father has not forgotten you. In fact, He loves you with an infinite love.
Dieter F. UchtdorfSometimes the most difficult things to see are those that have been right in front of us all alongโฆ We who have heard the glorious message of the coming of the Son of God, we who have taken upon us His name and have covenanted to walk in His path as His disciplesโwe must not fail to open our hearts and minds and truly see Him.
Dieter F. UchtdorfWe are not perfect. The people around us are not perfect. People do things that annoy, disappoint, and anger. In this mortal life it will always be that way. Nevertheless, we must let go of our grievances. Part of the purpose of mortality is to learn how to let go of such things. That is the Lordโs way. Remember, heaven is filled with those who have this in common: They are forgiven. And they forgive.
