I think there's a tremendous amount of guilt that goes on between mothers and daughters, no matter how good or bad their relationships are. It kills girls inside when they think they're letting their mothers down.

I think a breakup can be the beginning of a friendship. That's not me trying to make everything OK - it's me saying, "No, we love each other. Let's not pretend we don't."

Nobody is solid and perfect all of the time.

I remember being on film sets when I was younger, and only men got to do the cool action movies. So I thought, 'Maybe I'll get to produce one day and get to do cool stuff too,' which is what happened when we did 'Charlie's Angels.' Starting my production company was a big turning point for me.
