God has called us to SHINE, just as much as Daniel was sent into Babylon to shine. Let no one say that he cannot shine because he has not so much influence as some others may have. What God wants YOU to do is to use the influence YOU have. Daniel probably did not have much influence down in Babylon at first, but God soon gave him more because he was FAITHFUL and used what he had.

It is better to be a little too strict than too liberal.

I find that many Christians are in trouble about the future; they think they will not have grace enough to die by. It is much more important that we should have grace enough to live by. It seems to me that death is of very little importance in the meantime. When the dying hour comes, there will be dying grace; but you do not require dying grace to live by.

I never saw a fruit-bearing Christian who was not a student of the Bible.

I'd rather be able to pray than to be a great preacher; Jesus Christ never taught his disciples how to preach, but only how to pray.

Some say if only my fears and doubts will leave then I will get to work. But instead you should get to work and then your fears and doubts will leave.
