On the new Earth, as the awakened consciousness comes in, I would say the ego would develop in children and quickly become outgrown when they reach adulthood.

Give up defining yourself - to yourself or to others. You won't die. You will come to life.

Instead of being lost in your thinking, when you awaken you recognize yourself as the awareness behind it. Thinking then ceases to be a self-serving autonomous activity that takes possession of you and runs your life.

A short attention span makes all of your perceptions and relationships shallow and unsatisfying.

The planet will not survive another hundred years of the same state of consciousness that produced the external effects of recent history.

You can always cope with the present moment, but you cannot cope with something that is only a mind projection - you cannot cope with the future.

The moment you become aware of the ego in you, it is strictly speaking no longer the ego, but just an old, conditioned mind-pattern. Ego implies unawareness. Awareness and ego cannot coexist.
