As the years progressed, my spiritual evolution seemed to increase in speed. I stepped outside this world, the selves reordered. The combination, the aggregate of beings that I was, dissolved in the white light of eternity.

In the beginning what is necessary is to feel that there is something worthwhile to be attained otherwise we won't do it.

When you meditate make sure you stay awake. If you are falling asleep get up and splash some water on yourself or sleep until you are refreshed.

Death doesn't change anything. It just gives you a new location. The physical mind dissolves. But the overriding state of mind that you die in is the state of mind that you are born into.

A teacher is not someone you need perpetually. You need them to show you how to get through the doorway; but once you get through the doorway, you are on your own.

The Zen master walks in his garden, alone. There is no traffic there. There is no shopping there. There are only the flowers.

If you are afraid of other people take a martial arts class. The best way to overcome fear is learn to be proficient in martial arts.
