You don't have to meditate. You don't have to practice self-discovery and Buddhism. You should only practice self-discovery if you really have had it with the human world.

Meditation will give you the power to overcome fear. As you sit and meditate each day, it makes you stronger. The energy of the universe flows through your mind, your body, and your life.

My feeling is that drugs and alcohol take away from the pure experience of meditation. That does not mean that occasionally, a person couldn't have a glass of wine or a drink.

Death is a doorway. It is a very small, thin doorway and only a portion of our being can walk through.

If the world does not shine brightly, even just the physical, sensual perception after meditation, you have not meditated. You have sat and thought of things that were not real.

Life is not dependent upon our classifications and our categories, our science. But we are. We find it interesting and helpful.

You're not listening to the Zen master, what he is saying outwardly, but even more importantly...what he is saying inwardly.
